  • Serve as a consultant to the National Medical Association’s Project IMPACT training for minority health care providers to increase participation in clinical trials
  • Served as a consultant to the National Medical Association-American Cancer Society Cancer Consensus Project that resulted in a published consensus statement document, 2009
  • Served as a Woodrow Wilson Public Policy Scholar and completed a research project on breast cancer health disparities, 2008
  • Provided a review article on the State of Black America: The Impact of Health Disparities in African American Women for the National Urban League, 2008
  • Served as the coordinator and moderator for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Philadelphia Affiliate program on Sexuality, Intimacy, and Fertility
  • Served as the Principal Investigator for Systems Assessment Research Corporation application to the Veterans Administration for the Presidential Decision Directive (PDD) 62, Training National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) Hospitals Proposal
  • Served on the Avon Foundation Cancer Advisory Board
  • Provided Breast and Prostate Cancer Guidelines and Best Practices Guidelines for the National Medical Association’s Health Legislative Colloquium.
  • Managed a 2-year education and prevention HIV/AIDS program among personnel in the Umbutfo Swaziland Defense Forces, 2002-2004 serving as the Principal Investigator in partnership with the Medical Care Development International
  • Served as principal coordinator for International Medical Exchange (IME) in the sponsorship of a multinational workshop on Developing Sustainable African Health Care Delivery Systems for the Millennium and a pre-symposium Telehealth Workshop
  • Provided consultancy to Howard University, Ralph Bunche International Center on an application for USAID Partnership for Health Reform II Project
  • Provided HIV training for the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help (IFESH) Best and Brightest Bankers Program, 2000
  • Grant Reviewer for Manning Selvage and Lee’s Speaking with an Active Voice national project.
  • Represents the National Medical Association on the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) program that is dedicated to educating women about breast cancer and the importance of early detection and management.
  • Served as the Chair of the Howard University Cancer Center, Community Cancer Advisory Board.
